What Are Basic Mixed Packs?
Basic Mixed Packs are the primary progression reward in Chosen Tides. They are unlocked through cumulative XP milestones — no purchase, no crypto, and no wallet required.
Pack Composition
Each Basic Mixed Pack contains 5 cards with the following guaranteed composition:
- Minimum 2 Light (Holy) cards
- Minimum 2 Dark (Evil) cards
- 1 flexible slot (Light, Dark, or Neutral)
Card rarities follow the standard distribution: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Ultra Rare, Legendary, and Mythic Legendary.
How to Unlock
Basic Mixed Packs are unlocked at cumulative XP milestones. Every valid match completion adds to your cumulative XP. When you reach a milestone threshold, a new pack becomes available to claim.
Welcome Pack
Every new account automatically receives one Basic Mixed Welcome Pack upon first login. This is a one-time grant — it is never issued twice. The welcome pack uses the same composition as XP milestone packs.
Non-Blockchain Progression
No Automatic NFT
Opening a Basic Mixed Pack does not create an NFT. The cards you receive are gameplay cards in your collection. Future NFT eligibility is a separate process that has not been activated.
No Permanent Mint Right
Basic Mixed Packs do not grant Permanent Mint Rights. Permanent Mint Rights are a future feature that may be associated with specific eligible cards, not with pack openings.
No Crypto Reward
Basic Mixed Packs do not issue ALTR, LGHT, DRKN, or any other cryptocurrency. They contain gameplay cards only.
