Chosen Tides is a mobile-first application. As a mobile app, we do not use traditional web browser cookies for tracking. This policy explains the local storage technologies we use to provide and improve the Service.
We use your device's local storage to remember your preferences, such as sound settings, animation quality settings, and session information. This data is stored on your device and is not shared with third parties. You can clear this data at any time through your device's settings.
When you log in, we store an authentication token on your device to keep you signed in between sessions. This token is encrypted and is used solely to authenticate your requests to our servers. It is automatically cleared when you log out.
Chosen Tides uses a service worker to cache the application shell and assets for faster loading and offline launch capability. This cache is stored on your device and can be cleared through your browser or app settings. The cache does not contain personal data.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics SDKs that collect data across other apps or websites. All analytics are first-party and event-based, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can manage local storage by clearing your app data or browser data in your device settings. Note that clearing local storage will sign you out and reset your in-app preferences. Your account data, card collection, and progress are stored on our servers and are not affected by clearing local storage.
