What is Chosen Tides?
Chosen Tides is a spiritual digital trading card game where players build decks, battle AI and other players, earn XP, and unlock mixed Light and Dark gameplay cards.
Is Chosen Tides free to play?
Yes. You can create an account, build decks, battle AI, and earn XP for free. Premium packs and blockchain features are optional and remain disabled or Coming Soon.
Can I play without a crypto wallet?
Yes. A crypto wallet is not required to play. XP, Basic Mixed Packs, AI battles, and PvP are all available without any wallet.
What does XP unlock?
XP unlocks Basic Mixed Packs at cumulative milestones. XP is the active progression currency — it never resets and is never spent.
What is a Basic Mixed Pack?
A Basic Mixed Pack is a non-blockchain progression pack unlocked through XP. It contains a mix of Light and Dark gameplay cards.
Does a Basic Mixed Pack contain Light and Dark cards?
Yes. Each Basic Mixed Pack contains a minimum of 2 Light cards, 2 Dark cards, and 1 flexible slot.
Does a Basic Mixed Pack create an NFT?
No. Basic Mixed Packs contain gameplay cards only. They do not create NFTs, grant Permanent Mint Rights, or issue crypto rewards.
What is ALTR?
ALTR (Chosen Tides Altar) is a LEGACY Solana SPL token with confirmed on-chain Metaplex metadata. ALTR is not the CHSNT Genesis utility token: Chosen Tides is preparing CHSNT (Chosen), an upcoming finite-supply Solana utility economy, and its canonical contract address is published on the CHSNT hub and token pages — always verify the full address there. Historical ALTR balances, pools and transactions remain historical ALTR and are never presented as CHSNT activity. ALTR rewards, claims, packs, and numerical player wallet displays are only live when the public Blockchain Status page says they are enabled.
What is the legacy ALTR mint?
The legacy ALTR mint is Ab5H7ydfZzkjnDWi7v8rS5zehqpuCdH4kNKDYvTgQJ5S on Solana Mainnet — a HISTORICAL legacy address. It is not, and will never be, the CHSNT contract address. The canonical CHSNT contract address is published on the CHSNT hub and token pages, and is never derived from ALTR. Always verify the full address.
Why does Solflare currently show the mint address as the token label?
The mint and token balance are valid. ALTR has confirmed on-chain Metaplex metadata, but a wallet or indexing service may temporarily display the mint address until its local token information is refreshed or indexed.
Which wallet owns the one-billion-token balance?
The one-billion-token balance belongs to the Ledger wallet (F1ZQ9aDCAGsBfxuXw9SnGGPqTcN8NPUMw5UhyNCcDABs) through its associated token account (14eNppsNVdu3TQLmx6WuFHSYLSe48jraEGvLMXXCdMnb).
What is the difference between the mint, wallet and token account?
The mint address (Ab5H7...) is the token contract. The Ledger authority owner (F1ZQ9...) is the wallet that controls the mint. The associated token account (14eNpp...) is the Ledger wallet’s ALTR balance account. The mint is not a second wallet.
Are ALTR rewards enabled?
No. ALTR rewards, claims, packs, and numerical player wallet displays remain disabled unless the public Blockchain Status page explicitly states they are enabled.
Can email-only players earn ALTR now?
No. ALTR is not currently issued to any player. Email-only players earn XP through gameplay. Future CHSNT eligibility requires a verified wallet linked before a meaningful match.
What are LGHT and DRKN?
LGHT is a future Light Pack token — Coming Soon. DRKN is a future Dark Pack token — not yet minted. Neither is active in current gameplay.
Has DRKN been minted?
No. DRKN has not been minted. It is reserved for a future Dark Pack phase.
Can Chosen Tides NFTs be sold?
NFT minting and sales are currently disabled. Future NFTs may potentially be offered for verified CHSNT or SOL payment when the public status pages say they are enabled.
Does ALTR have a guaranteed value?
No. ALTR has no guaranteed price, liquidity, redemption value, or investment return.
